100 Visitors

I had no plans of posting another blog but I thought I should write about this because, in my eyes, it’s quite a big deal.

The site has been up for 22 days now and it’s had 106 unique visitors, not the best but it’ll do just now. Really need to get more customers though, especially since my adsense account has been removed for “suspicious activity.” Probably shouldn’t have asked people to just go on the page and click on links. Oh well, lesson learned – I won’t be doing that again.

An update on new site progress :

Made a lot of headway today on the site! Managed to get a lot of the graphics in order and got a good idea of the site border now, just need to tweak it so it looks right. Glad it’s all starting to come together though.

Plans for the new website

I’ve decided that I should probably make a blog for the website, more indepth information about what’s happening to the site and just general posts about it.

Currently, I’m familiarising myself with a trial of Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5, I’m slowly getting there and the new site design is beginning to take shape. It’s not going to look that stunning for a while, not until I’m way more comfortable with the program but at least it’s a start and I’m learning. Not entirely sure about how to do certain things still but it’s a learning progress and will hopefully be comfortable with it soon.

Still trying to decide whether it’d be better to put a pattern or gradient as the background or use a proper image, perhaps of the inside of a computer. It will have to be decided soon though, trying to get this up and running within the next two weeks. It’s not complex enough to require a lot of testing. Basically check that everything looks good and that all the hyperlinks function correctly.

The plans for the next few days are to try and figure out how to do a graphic border round the container on my page, but I’m sure with a lot of help from my dear friend, Google, I’ll manage to work it out. Well I hope I can anyway.

After all this has been done, I need to start finding a new host. Fun times…
